So a month or so ago I asked a question about our van going crazyhttps://dodgeforum.com/forum/dodge-c...ights-etc.html So far it has only done it once more since that time. It is very random. However, now the battery is getting drawn down when the van is off. If I disconnect the ground it keeps the charge, but quickly loses charge when its reconnected. The ground cable sparks when I attach it, and sometimes the horn honks also, like when the doors are locked. I'm terrible with electrical stuff, but I'm thinking its a ground issue. The problem is I don't know where the ground points are. Would the TIPM be a possible source of this draw?

 

Don't overlook bad diodes in the alternator drawing down the battery.
