Default lifespan of iridiums in my 3.6 2011 GC

We just hit 80k on our 2011 GC mainstreet. We've run injector cleaner in the last 3 fuel refills and upgraded from 87 to 89 octane. But still seems like it needs a tune up, so I was going to change out the plugs (original). When I looked them up, turns out they are iridiums - one website said Champion warranted them for 7 years. So I'm now wondering if I should look elsewhere to chase the performance degradation.

Anyone change these plugs out this early?

Thanks!

What does your owners manual say?

96K miles. What does the manual say for your 13?

I found a post by someone else that said he had bad plugs at 90k, so bad he had to have it towed to the dealer.

I like to change them at 75K. Just personal preference.

Default ordered plugs

Ordered the Champion Iridiums (OE plugs). Probably have time to get into swapping them out next weekend... I'll have to dig around and see if I can find a DIY on it... looks like they're buried in there deep.

Your owners manual says to change them at 96,000 miles? Strange. My owners manual states 100,000 miles. I won't touch them or stress about it until then.

Default new champion plugs, fixed issues

Put the new plugs in today. The old ones were WAY out of gap spec. Made a huge difference in performance.

Taking off the upper intake took a while, but the plugs were easy. Van had 80k on it. I'd say I would swap for new, or at least regap at 50k. Got the plugs at rockauto.
