I purchased a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan Crew which did not come with a spare tire nor automatic headlights. What is the spare tire size and can I change the headlight switch with one that has the auto function ?

 

The dealer you bought it from should be able to help you out.

 

Dealer had no idea nor could he find an after market switch. He quoted me on a whole compact spare tire assembly but not the tire size .

 

145/80D17 is the actual size of the spare, but you need to make sure you've got the winch and cover as well.

No problem. When I got my '14 GC, it had the winch, upper part of the carrier, the jack, and an air compressor with slime. I picked up a stock spare, lower cover, and winch handle off of ebay for considerably cheaper than buying the whole thing from the dealer.

 

I just purchased 2017 GC. It has no spare and I am not happy with it. My van comes with the winch, winch handle and I guess the upper cover (please see the picture). All I need is the compact spare tire and the bottom cover.




I found the compact tire, and I learned that 2013-2016 models have T145/80D17. So although Mopar site has no parts for 2017 and it says it wont fit to 2016, it claims that it can fit to 2015! Here is the wheel (no size, just part number):

I also found the bottom cover. but I am not sure if I really need part? Is it to protect the spare tire from exterior elements or is it just aesthetics. I guess the winch can hold just the wheel, I don't think it requires cover.

To be honest, I don't see the top cover in your picture. Just the winch.
