Default Lost Paperwork

I purchased a new 2008 Dodge Caravan in 2008. When I closed the deal and signed, I understood that I had a life time bumper to bumper warranty. The dealer that sold me the van now say they have no record of this transaction and no policy exists. We have misplaced our papers. The last time we recall bringing the policy out was in 2013 for an inspection check by the dealer. Maybe we've seen it again; can't remember.
We have kept a log and receipts for all service and repairs.
Is there anyplace in the archives where we can find a copy of this policy?

Moved to the correct section. I've never heard of a lifetime bumper to bumper warranty. Perhaps call Dodge customer care and they can check via the VIN number.

It's all over the internet and on this forum. Just can't find a copy of it.

Chrysler offered a "LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY" for 2006 thru 2009 model year vehicles purchased on or after July 26, 2007. I have that on my 2009 Caravan, it is good for the original owner only and you must have an inspection performed ever 5 years.

The only lifetime bumper to bumper warranty was an added cost item, I believe I was quote around $3600 for my van when I bought it, that warranty had a deductible, the powertrain warranty does not.

Here's a link to the supplement to the 2006 thru 2008 model year Warranty Books pertaining to the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty: http://www.dodge.com/crossbrand/warr...e_warranty.pdf

And here's a link to the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty FAQ.: https://www.chrysler.com/en/lifetime...ranty/faq.html

Hi Dave,

If you had your inspection completed in 2013, your warranty should still be active. If you'd like me to double-check on my end, please send a private message with your VIN.
