So our 2010 Caravan had a problem with the driver front door not locking or unlocking with switch or remote. Took door panel apart and determined it was the actuator. Got a Dorman replacement from Oreilly and put it in tonight. Door lock works fine now but the door latch switch is apparently not right in it because now the dome lights keep coming on and the speedometer display keeps saying door. The dome lights will never go off because it thinks the door is being repeatedly closed and opened. Anyone know are the Dorman actuators junk or did I just get a bad one? Should I have gone with a different brand?
