Have the 2008 GC and appear to be having issues with the E brake, we never use it, as our driveway is pretty level, several months ago a friend of ours borrowed the vehicle and applied the brake, since then the ebrake warning light is on but the brake is released in the foot well, but I appear to be chewing up brake pads on the front drivers side wheel wayyy faster than I should. I am assuming that the ebrake is somehow 'stuck' but I do not have any trouble rolling forwards or back without applying the throttle once in D or R, so is it really stuck? I changed out the front pads and rotors last night and the divers side was considerable worse than the passenger side, I have also had new calipers and wheel bearings in the last 20k-30k kms.


Any ideas where to start would be appreciated
