Default Throttle body

I cleaned my throttle body on my 2001 dodge caravan 2.4 due to rough idling. Since then The idle has been messed up. Idles about 10 to 12 mph. Eventually drops back down then idles rough or high it varies. I was going to try replacing the throttle position sensor to see if that helps. Any other ideas would be appreciated.

What did you clean it with and how did you clean it? Did you remove it from the engine?

I always use throttle bottle cleaner and a soft toothbrush. I have cleaned several over the years but this is the 1st time I have had a problems.

Sorry, I did not remove it from the engine. Not sure what I hosed up.

All I can offer is for you to go back and check all your work. Make sure you didn't knock a vacuum hose off somewhere. Could also be the TPS.

Thanks I redid everything 3 times. I did go get a new tps and will replace as soon as I get a chance.

It could also be the idle air control (IAC) valve.
