[5th Gen : 08+]: Stuck in Korea with Possible Transmission issue?
I have a 2010 Dodge Caravan. About a week ago the transmission light lit up on the dash board and Inoticed that the gears would periodically not shift.Immediate corrective action would be shuttingthe car off and restarting. The car willdrive and shift normally for a period of time, before it goes back to notshifting.I have taken it to the localauto shop and they plugged it into the computer, the car is giving them theerror codes P0734 and P0792.I live inSouth Korea and shipped my car here from the states, I am not getting a warmand fuzzy with the mechanics knowledge of my vehicle at this point, as theyseem clueless as where to go next for trouble shooting. There are only 2 auto shops in my locationthat cater to foreigners.Has anyone hadthis issue and know the fix for it so I can point them in the rightdirection? He mentioned sending it to atransmission specialist, which could cost me in excess of thousands of dollars. If this is just a wiring issue or timingissue I would be really upset.Any helpwould be greatly appreciated.
