Hi All-
I have a 02 Grand Caravan with an airbag light on. The code pulled from the computer is 39 and cannot find any reference online or here about an SRS code 39. Does anyone know what this means?

It's a general circuit fault. Could be a sensor in the front, could the wire in the steering. It needs to be checked by a specialist. Has the airbag been replaced?

 

Thanks for the info. To answer your Q, no the airbag has not been replaced. I have replaced the clock spring many miles ago. Would a specialist use any tools beyond a code scanner? Happy to trace out the problem myself if only had the data to reference.

 

Can't answer that. I don't mess around with air bags.
