I am starting to think I don't really have an alarm on my van. It has the normal chip when you lock the van with the keyfob, and also has the panic button where the alarm does sound. However, I decided to do a test the other day. Left the window down, locked the van, and then opened the door to see if it would set off the alarm. Nothing happened. Is this normal or am I correct that I don't have an alarm?
