[3rd Gen : 96-00]: Transmission Line Upper Rad?

I just haywired some stuff on my 1997 Grand Caravan. I am set to go but cannot get the 3/8 inch hose on the rad's upper connection that cools the tranny fluid. Can I drive one mile to the transmission shop if I plugged off the line with a bolt and clamp WITHOUT DANAGING ANYTHING?
