227xxx miles, will start but not every time. accessories work, battery has good charge, starter relay clicks.

I'd like to believe that after all this time a pattern has emerged and the hive mind has noticed that pattern and can tell me what the most likely culprit is given the fairly unique problem on this specific make and model.

I read through a forum discussion (fasteddie) written in 2012 on what appears to be this same problem but the problem was not resolved in the thread. I've asked the OP but I don't expect a response given the time that has passed.
