[5th Gen : 08+]: Rough idle after replacing timing belt - pulley wobbling
I have a 2009 Grand Caravan SXT 4.0L with 134k miles.
I replaced the timing belt and water pump myself, but now it has a slightly rough idle. I took everything apart and noticed the rear camshaft looked like it was off by one tooth. I re-installed the timing belt after getting all three marks lined up on TDC, but it still has a rough idle.
I replaced the PCV valve, air filter, and checked for vacuum leaks. The spark plugs aren't very old, and they still look good. The EGR valve was replaced last year.
I think the crankshaft pulley is wobbling - maybe I didn't reinstall it correctly? Is there a special tool for installing it? I just used the pulley bolt.
Any ideas? I'm at my wits end!
