Good evening everyone. This is my first time posting in this form so please forgive my inexperience. I have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, and was replacing the front emergency brake cable. Everything went well until I tried hooking the end of the cable up to the brake equalizer. It was about 1 inch too short, but I have double-checked and was assured that I was sold the correct cable. Is there any way that I can get the necessary slack to enable me to hook the end of the front cable up to The Equalizer? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
