Hi all, new here.

Our 2008 caravan with 140,000 miles just had the electronic throttle control warning light come on. Any idea of how much this repair might cost if done by a professional mechanic? Also, my husband recently installed a remote start on the van. Any connection to that installation and now this or purely coincidence?

I would call a few shops in your area to inquire. It could be a number of things that onlyba proper diagnosis can pinpoint. Repair costs vary wildly due to different labor costs. You could try disconnecting the battery to reset everything.
