i'm having a weird issue with my second row display for my 2009 dodge grand caravan. i'm not sure when it started, i just noticed it when my daughter wanted to watch a video this afternoon.

The center display won't show VES dvd video. when i go into the ves source menu on the head unit, it shows the source screens as it should, but it will not show dvd video. another weird issue i noticed is that while i can change the center source (1) without disturbing the rear source for screen 2, and source changes i make for screen 2 are reflected on screen 1, with the exception of dvd video.... it will display on the rear screen (2) but the center screen (1) shows a blank screen. the center screen will show the menus without problem, just not the dvd feed itself.

also, there are 2 soft red led's on the back of the lcd panel itself and 4 to each side of the screen release button on the overhead console. i have never noticed them before, and they are not present on the rear screen which works fine.

did the screen get locked somehow? is there any way to unlock it? the vehicle doesn't have bluetooth or the ves remotes or headsets. it's all controlled through the head unit.

and another weird note. i loaded a dvd in the head unit (not the ves dvd player) and now it won't eject that dvd...

any ideas?
