Hi, I'm new here. I just bought a 2006 caravan with 50,000 miles on it and the oil pan was rusted out. I put a new oil pan on and went to put oil in it but after 4 quarts of oil, the dipstick was reading over the full mark. I just cchanged the oil in it today, after 3000 miles and, I only got 3 quarts of oil out of it. It also did the same thing as last time. After adding 4 quarts of oil, it is way over the full mark on the stick. Should I just add 5 quarts of oil( the full capacity), and not worry about the dipstick reading way overfull?
