TCC Locked 2009 Grand Caravan
hi I have a 2009 GC 4.0 L, 150k miles, fluid and filter changed when I got her 3 yrs ago.
Was running the interstate and stopped at rest area to find she stalls out when slowed in D.. Neurtal and Rev is fine. The TCC is locked, no trans problems noticed before now. Locked solid so it can barely get her to move w/o stalling out. At high speed, notice hard shifting due to the locked TCC.
Is is the lock up more likely due to internal (TCC) mechanical issue or electrical/computer? (Solenoid? Control? Fuse?, sensor?, etc.) NO ck engine light - I ***/u/me that if a code is thrown the light would be on?
What is the most likely cause and fix?
