HELP!

I bought a 2017 GT back in November and absolutely HATE the sound quality from the factory system.

Radio is an RBZ, 9 speaker (4 tweeters, 4 6x9 ovals and 1 subwoofer).

I have replaced the 6x9's with Kenwood KFC1665S 6.5" units. This was an improvement but I am still not happy.

Has anyone looked at radio replacements, amplifiers or what have you?

Do I maybe have a bad amplifier?

There are two suggestions made;

1. Replace the head unit with an aftermarket. This adds up to $700 with all adapters and interfaces.

2. Replace factory amp with aftermarket. Much less expensive but I'm told I have to run wires to the speakers.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
