[4th Gen : 01-07]: Bulb or Fuse?
When driving at night I noticed the extreme left side of the dashboard lights are out. The fuel indicator and approximately 1/3 of the speedometer are dark. Do the bulbs that provide that lighting burn out or could it be a fuse? Thanks.

Hey JK. Another question for you if you don't mind. When I am idling and I turn on or have the fan **** on I hear something like a cricket sound or the sound of a real loose bicycle chain. As soon as I put the vehicle in gear and start moving, the noise stops. Any idea what it is, and is it something I can fix myself. Also, regarding my initial post; can I purchase a dashboard bulb from an auto store outlet like Pep Boys, Auto Zone, etc?

I actually get this regularly on my '04, and for me it's just a loose connection. A good open hand whack just to the left of the instrument cluster hood on the top of the dash lights everything back up again. One of these days I will get in there and fix it, probably when I convert over to LED
Lol. Took some time over the weekend to take the instrument panel off. Turns out it was 2 bulbs that burnt out. Went to my local Dodge dealership. 7 bucks later and I was good to go.I've been driving over 40 years and that's the 1st time I ever remember a bulb burning out, let alone two. Thanks.
