[5th Gen : 08+]: Whining noise from left front
#1
Whining noise from left front
I have a 2010 grand caravan, CV model, with 3.3L.
When driving it makes a whining, or airplane, noise that's affected by speed.
Gets louder as I go faster, but seems quieter on the highway.
Most noticeable around 40 MPH.
Road conditions don't affect the noise, only speed.
Wheel bearing? Trans? CV shaft?
Not sure, but it drives fine....
Would it make sense to put it up on jack stands and try to pinpoint the noise?
New tires are on since 1000 miles ago, but the noise was there before that.
200,000 miles on it, and trans flush was done by previous owner at 150,000.
