Haven't even looked in a van to see if the mounts are visible as mentioned.

The '20 doesn't have a spare tire so does the console still mount the same at the front and does the rear of the console just slip under a bracket in the floor?
Here are a couple pics I found on the internet of the bottom of a basic console.

Thanks for the help.

Edit: I did go out and look at our 2010 Caravan to see how the console mounts, which is very simple.
The concern with the 2020 is it comes with a tire inflator kit, so do they still have the hole for the crank for a spare tire underneath the carpet where the front of the console would get secured?
I found a couple photos of new SE vans that show that area without the console and there is no plastic plug in the carpet/floor for the spare tire.

I purchased one of the consoles pictured above off of ebay, same color as the interior on the 2020.

Does anyone know what is beneath the carpet where the front of the console should secure into the floor pan of the van? (If there isn't a spare tire do they still have the bracket there to mount the console?)

I have had a 2009 sonata new (had a spare), a 2013 Elantra new (no spare), a 2013 Malibu new (no spare), a 2015 Nissan Altima new (no spare), and my 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan new (no spare). To say the least the spare is rare now because 1) it's expensive to put in a car 2) Cell service covers most of the country and tow shops are everywhere 3) People don't maintain the spare by tracking the pressure, making sure it is less than 6 years old 4) Even a brand new spare is unsafe above 50mph or over 30-50 miles and people drive on them for weeks or months. The car companies don't want the liability of some idiot killing someone when there spare fails.

If you live in the mountain areas of Colorado over to California, New Mexico north to Montana then you would likely need a spare because it could save you some day. 90% of the US population would be safer paying a professional less than $100 to tow them to a shop where they can have a flat fixed for less than $10. That way nobody is out of there car on an interstate trying to use an inadequate jack or driving on an inadequate spare.

Another idea, when I was a kid my old man would buy his tires in sets of 5 so his "spare" was just another of the set. When the set wore out tire #5 got replaced so it wasn't dry rotted. These vans are plentiful in junk yards so you could get wheel and tire for under $100 I bet.

Thanks for the reply IDon'GiveARam,
I personally am not concerned about not having a spare tire if your reply was directed towards my posts, just looking to secure the front of the basic console in the van.
