2018 Dodge Caravan GT
We are looking to upgrade my 2007 Dodge Caravan. I found a 2018 GT model that I’m really interested in but after doing some research I discovered that this model Caravan was only manufactured for one year. Only 2018 models have the capability of being a GT model. I learned also that they were considered to be the most ‘luxurious’ model. I’m trying to figure out why the GT model was only in production for one year? Does anyone else here have any insight?

The 2019's only offer 3 models per the Dodge website; the SE, SE Plus and SXT. I recently bought a 2019 SXT and I never saw any new GT models on any lot. Maybe a couple older 2018's but no 2019's. Edit: and I do believe the SXT's offer more bells and whistles than the GT's.

I wonder why (at least the US models) are not as loaded as they used to be? My seats are nice pleather with suede inserts but not real leather. The only leather I have is the steering wheel and shift ****. And no blind spot monitoring offered at all. Wish I had that. And what year did they drop the sunroof? To get all the goodies you have to step up the the Pacifica which was nice, but several things about it I did not like.
