I have a 2007 dodge caravan and the lights dim when it’s idling, what could be causing this

 

Weak alternator, bad/dirty connections, weak battery. Get the charging system tested. Most auto parts stores will do this for you if you don’t know how. Or, if you have a volt meter, measure your battery voltage with the engine running, should be around 14.5 VDC.
