Is there an easy way to detach the emergency brake cable from the left rear caliper? A special tool?

 

There are 3 little tabs you have to push in to slide it back through the hole. Its kind of a pain. I just changed the caliper on the rear right of a 2008. I removed the caliper from the caliper bracket, took off the bold holding the e-brake line so I had more movement with the caliper. But I did mine with a flat head screwdriver and some patience. I watched some random YouTube video on it.
