Default 1988 Caravan Ediot Light "Maintenance Required"

We have a 1988 Dodge Caravan from the California Market, it has 48'280 original miles and the "Maintenance Required" message indicator on the left side of the instrument panel has light up. I understand this is just a message not a warning on the California models but it not in Cali any more.
Can someone tell me how to reset this notification? my Chilton's manual dose not provide this information?
Dose the 1988 Caravan have a reset button or is the DRB scan tool required?

Thanks TDWay

You have to take it to the dealer to reset the light.
It was an "emissions check due" light that was on all vans until 1993. The dealer should reset it for free. If they won't the other option is to just remove the bulb.

If you're into that kind of thing go for it.
