If you could see it leaking from the grill area then the radiator is damaged and needs to be replaced. I’d recommend you replace the pressure cap as well if you’re not sure it’s functioning properly as an extra $10-$20 is well worth it to know the cap is good.
One other possibility to check: The coolant overflow tank hose may be bad or may not have a good seal at the overflow tank. That can cause these same symptoms; I speak from experience. Try replacing the overflow hose and use new clamps at both the radiator cap and the overflow tank connection.

Hi Guys

So a quick follow up as managed to fix it...

I bought Radiator pressure tester and put pressure in and that same corner leaked quite badly.

Bought a new radiator and started the replacement process.

When I got to disconnecting the lower hose I gripped the clamp and part of it, maybe one quarter, just immediately snapped off. So it was not fully tight as only three quarters of it actually working.

Replaced that lower hose clamp, did a pressure test again and it was spot on perfect, problem solved.

Basically it was firing coolant forward from the gap in the hose under pressure, so it appeared to be leaking from the front corner, when actually it was the rear. This is also why I saw coolant sprayed forward out of the lower grille.

Annoying that I bought the radiator, but it was $100 delivered online so not the end of the world. Probably still saved money by doing it myself.

But a nice easy fix in the end.

The factory hose clamps are poor quality. Both upper and lower were pretty rusty. Replaced with stainless steel.
