[5th Gen : 08+]: A strange brake problem Town and Country
Hi, I have a strange brake problem with my 2008 Chrysler T and C Touring van, VIN: 2A8HR54P78R149044
3.8L engine.
I just bought this van and when I start it up and put my foot on the brake while sitting still, the pedal moves up and down an inch or two. It is strong enough to lift my leg. If I hold down the pedal with all my force it doesn't move as much but it is still moving a little. It goes up and down every few seconds like it is pulsing. Someone has already put a new brake booster, master cylinder,Both flexable lines, vacume hose and check valve on it, the front rotors and pads are new as well. I removed the 2 antilock brake fuses but, it did not change. The van has 170K miles and runsand drives fine, just this problem with the pedal moving up and down . Does anyone have any idea what is causing this and how to fix it .
Thanks very much, Mike E
