So I would like to upgrade my manual headlight switch to the auto-headlight system. The switch is easy enough to swap. I have the AppCar FCA software to change the program feature. The one piece I can't seem to find any documentation on is the sun "sentinel" sensor, apparently mounted at the front of the dash next to the windshield. I have already pulled the radio and the 10" full length plastic cover at the windshield looking for the wire connector for the sentinel sensor, but not there. I had always assumed they installed the same wire harnesses throughout each version of vehicle. I look at OEM Dodge parts online and the sentinel sensor IS shown as an active item for the 2019 models. Any help on where they "tied-off" the connector for this sensor, or am I totally looking at something else....there are two sensors mounted on the backside of the rearview mirror...is one of these for the auto headlight system??

 

Exactly the automatic headlight sensor is one of the sensors on the back of the rear view mirror.

I have a 2018 blacktop edition that I recently bought used that does not have the auto headlights.
all kinds of options on this model but not this one.
