Default Sliding door will not lock

Passengers side sliding door of 2017 Caravan SXT will not lock. **** on handle will not budge like the child proof lever is in lock mode but isn't and power locks will not lock it either, all other doors lock and unlock. Unable to manually toggle the lock button on the handle, will not move. When I use the remote or window switch panel it does nothing.

Hi clicketysplit, We certainly understand why this may be concerning. We kindly recommend having your dealer inspect this concern for you as they are in the best position to assist. If you do work with your dealer, we would be more than happy to provide you with additional support.

Default Gee I would have never thought of that

What's the point of this forum if I'm only going to be directed elsewhere?

Probably a bad door lock actuator that's causing your problem. Replacing it could require quite a bit of work depending how mechanically incline you are and the tools you have on hand. Here's a link someone replacing a defective door lock actuator.
