Hi everyone--
New to this forum. Pulling a code of P0306....#6 cylinder misfiring....plug and wires look good....any other suggestions?.....thanks....

 

Perform a compression test and see if you are getting 140 to 160 psi. And maybe switch the number 2 plug with number 6 and see if the misfire follows the plug.

 

thanks master tech....compression is 150psi......plug has plenty of spark.....I did the stethoscope test on the base of the injector with a long-handled screwdriver to my ear....pin is clicking nicely....I'm now thinking it might just be a clogged injector......might consider an injector cleaner.....any recommendations?

 

I would ask one at the part store you go to and ask then for the best one they have and maybe get a price on an injector just in case.

 

Thanks master tech....I'm not so sure I trust the employees at my local Auto Zone.....is there any FI cleaner that you like?

 

Then go in and pick the you like, I'm sure they all are about the same. You will add to your fuel tank. Maybe STP?
