Default 2010 SXT 3.8 Air Kind of Cold

Hey all.

New here, hello.

I have a 2010 SXT 3.8. While stationary, Air coming out of the vents is 60 F at the best measured on high and recirculate is on. It’s been about 85F here, 60% humidity. Checked the pressures. Low side is steady at 40 PSI while compressor is running. High side fluctuates from 130PSI to 250PSI while compressor is on. This fluctuation occurs while the fan is running on low speed. Once the fan turns on, the high side pressure falls to 130 psi from 250 psi. The fan shuts of then and the pressure on the high side rises to 250 psi over about 20 seconds at which point the fan turns back on and pressure drops back to 130 psi. Low side never leaves 40 psi during all this. The inside vent temp fluctuates from 60F to ambient in proportion to the fan behavior. After about 10 mins, the fan kicks to high speed, I’m assuming from engine temp sensor. Higher air flow doesn’t seem to improve cooling. While driving at 60 mph, the vent temp can sometimes hit 50F. After I shut the car off, the pressures equalize to about 80 psi. Any one else experience this or have an idea of what it might be? Is it normal for the fan only to come on as the condenser heats up. My other car runs its condenser fan continuously, but it doesn’t have a sensor On the condenser and is a dual fan set up.
