Hi everyone,

I used to have a fully operational power liftgate on my 2005 Grand Caravan. It is now completely dead, leaving me to open the hatch using the key. Almost everything does not work. The latch on the liftgate itself is non-responsive, as is the button over the windshield and the key fob button. The ONLY thing that causes some response is if I gently close the hatch halfway so that the latch motor wakes up and latches the door.

My question is this? What should I look at repairing? the latch motor? lift motor? latch button? Something else? Any suggestions on how to sleuth where things are going wrong?
