Does anyone know if you can replace the oversized donut spare tire with a regular full size tire and rim? I have a 2002 Caravan SE.

Also, it took me an hour to disengage the safety mechanism on the spare tire winch. Does anyone know where to locate the instructions on how to lower the spare. All the owners manual and sticker inside the cover for the jack say is to crank the nut until the spare hits the ground. The safety latch on mine had to be pried open with a screw driver.
