[5th Gen : 08+]: Power steering high pressure line replacement - 2013 Caravan
I need to replace the power steering high pressure line.
I have really tough time getting to the power steering side of that line. There is so little space that I can't even stick my hand in to touch it. I have tried from top and bottom, even took off the inner fender hoping that I could do it through there but unfortunately this is not the case.
I hope I don't have to remove the crossmember, that would be overkill I think, but who knows.
Can anyone share some info or video?
Thank you.

Your 2013 shouldn’t be much different than my 2016, and on mine the rack and pinion is easy to access from below.
On the pump side - you may need to remove the heat shield from the rack and pinion and gain some working room, but it should still be accessible from below. You could also just unbolt the pump from the block if it comes to it.
Replying to this thread, hopefully someone with experience sees this and can answer the OP and myself.
I believe i have identified a leaking pressure line on my 2013 grand caravan. The line appears to be the same one the OP described. It connects to the rack and pinion on the driver's side and to the pump on the passenger side. The connection at the rack and pinion appears to be accessible, i got an 18mm wrench on it this night to confirm the size. The connection at the pump leaves a lot to be desired. Attempting to go at it from the back under the vehicle, from the top through the engine bay and from the wheel well are all not working out. It seems like i will need to remove several items before i can access the connection at the pump. It would be very appreciated if someone could shed some light on how to accomplish this. I have located a Haynes manual I will be purchasing tomorrow. I will update this thread as i progress.

Wrapping up this item, sorry for not posting sooner.
The connection at the pump turned out to be a lot easier to get at once a heat shield was adjusted. Remove all but 1 of the bolts holding the heat shield and rotate the heat shield out of the way. Now that you have a bit more room you should be able to get at the hose connection at the pump. Replacing the line wasn't the most difficult task, however it did require a lot of patience, the hose does not really want to be threaded on to its connections.
Good luck if you have to make this repair.
