I have a 01 Caravan, and I can't get it to start. I put the key in, and I can't turn the key. I tried moving the steering wheel, (like the issue I had on my old Nissan, where I'd have to move the steering wheel sometimes to get it to where it'd unlock and turn the key), and the wheel moves like the car is still on. What could be the problem? Do I need a new ignition switch/lock switch? Is this a common problem?

Probably the best place to start is to keep messing with the key to get it to turn. You cannot remove the lock cylinder from the steering column unless it is in the Run position.
