I have a 2001 dodge grand caravan it starting running rough and whe you push the accelater while in park all the way to the floor the engine it goes up and dow but when you push it slow it will go to max rpm and the only code i get is low battery code p1684 ive cleaned everything anyone have any ideas thanks Jim

 

I've come across a post, I don't remember where, while searching for my own issue and they had a battery that would start the van but was causing other problems. According to that post. They only found out the battery was the cause when they went to get it tested and found that it was bad. They did not say in which way it was bad. They did say that when they replaced the battery their issues went away as well. Could be that the battery really did cause all the issue, and potentially yours as well, or just leaving the battery disconnected for several minutes cleared whatever was causing their issue.
