HI guys, I bought a brand new 2019 grand caravan on Feb 1st of 2020. 2 weeks after purchase the passenger slider door would close like you hit the button to tell it to close. Nothing is in the tracts, blocking the travel of the door in any way. Vehicle has been to dodge almost monthly since March 3rd 2020 with the slider door having issues of closing on its own. I've been in the doors path and have been squeezed by the door. Once it hits I guess max "pressure" the door clicks a bunch of times and then the door switches to manual mode. Also the door when it closes at random times correctly will shut and then start clicking. The dealer has seen the countless videos of my door having its issues but they "cant replicate the problem" so they give the vehicle back unrepaired. The vehicle was returned to Dodger on Monday Jan 25 2021 and I was informed by the service manager that he was able to replicate the issue twice. Once with just him there and once with the lead mechanic. They tore every square inch of wiring out and triple checked that it was intact. Today they inform me that they dont know what the issue is and that they cant repair my vehicle because they didnt know the cause of the malfunction. My husband told them tonight that we are not picking the vehicle up because it was not repaired. PLEASE tell me someone is having the same issues.
