The panic alarm on my 2006 Grand Caravan goes off whenever I unlock the car. It's easy to reset using the key in the ignition and pressing the panic button under the steering wheel column, to the left. It's been suggested that the button isn't original and might be the problem - but I don't know. I had problems with the car battery at the same time this problem started and had to replace it. Ever since we've not been able to unlock the car without the panic alarm going off.

Are there any resets or possible fixes that people know of?

 

That’s definitely an aftermarket system - the factory wouldn’t have installed the controller on the knee bolster like that. Try removing the screws and looking for an ID sticker on the back of it.

If nothing’s there, trace the wiring harness up under the dash and you’ll probably find the primary control module, then you’ll have to Google it to find the company or programming information if they’re out of business.
