These repair manuals seem to come in 2 different flavors, PDF files and DVD. I know DVD, but I am not familiar with PDF. Is PDF as complete as DVD? PDF costs a fraction of DVD.

A related question. Mine is 2016. Are there sufficient differences between the years in the 5th generation? Or is 2008 service manal good enough?

The PDF files may take up a lot room on or hard drive. Where the DVD is just put in the player and watch.

 

There was a big price difference between DVD ($100+) and PDF ($20). So I bought PDF. Wow, this is a big file with no table/index. I am not sure if this can be much useful. Oh, well.
