I just bought a used 98 van and the outside temp on the overhead console doesnt read right. Does anyone know where the sensor is located or if it could be another problem?

Behind the front bumper below the licencse plate. Can't iss it, its the only thing under there with two wires coming out of it. Probably a bad sensor causing the problem
