[5th Gen : 08+]: No Throttle Response In Cold Weather
2016 GC. 112k miles. Remanufactured transmission at 111k.
cold temp and cold engine. When approaching curves or hills with no speed, when you press the accelerator to go up the hill - nothing happens. Push it to the floor and RPMs stay at 1000 and van ‘limps’ along. As you crest the hill, the RPMs go way up and the van takes off. Happens regularly on cold mornings. But if you drive for 10 min or so and then stop, turn the van off, wait 30 seconds and restart, will not have the problem. I’ve done the experiments on the same stretch of road. Cold with no restart, problem. Cold with drive and restart, no problem. Replaced throttle body assembly and that did not fix the issue. At the end of my rope - any suggestions?

How is the throttle on warmer days? And did you do a throttle relearn after replacing the throttle body. How cold is cold where you are at.. Transmissions don't like to move when under 32F. I would check the throttle cable if you have one. But I believe its a fly by wire. Which means you have a app sensor for the gas pedal.
