Oil and Air filter reccomendation
Hello,
I am changing the oil soon on a 2010 SE 3.3L. I have always used Mobile 1 Extended Performance Full Synthetic which I can get at Walmart for $25 or so for 5 quarts. Lately, I have been reading threads that suggest always using oil from the manufacturer since it has been formulated specifically for the engine in question. Though I can't offhand think of much of anything that auto manufacturers do to intentionally make their vehicles last longer rather than shorter, I thought I would ask here about what other generally do. Most of the recommended oils are synthetic blends.
I don't ever remember seeing Mopar brand oil so I am not sure what I would use anyway.
I would also like to know what folks use for an air filter. I tend to use Mahle or ACDelco Professional.
