Transmission will not shift into 6th gear in cold temps
I have a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan SE with 240K miles. It has the same 62TE trans as the rest. About 40K miles ago it took longer after start up, (a couple minutes) especially when cold outside, for the transmission to upshift into 6th gear. Now the vehicle has to warm up for at least 45 minutes when it's below 32 degrees out, before it will hit 6th gear. The transmission was crap from the factory when I bought it new in 2012. The dealer finally rebuilt it at 35,666 miles and other than this shifting glitch, it's been perfect since the rebuild. I do not baby this van. It has 90% highway miles on it.
