Default Vacuum line issue on 2006 caravan 2.4L

I have a 2006 dodge Caravan with a 2.4L engine- I did some recent timing belt/water pump work on the car and when finishing up noticed that the -2 line Manifold Vacuum Connector, thatcomes out on the top back side of the intake manifold had a vacuum line missing /detached line to the top connector. now I can’t find the vacuum line to hook up to it and I don’t know where it would have run to. i started the car and it ran with a higher than normal idle, and threw a code “air intake temp sensor” , so I put a cap plug on the open vacuum connector and cleared the code started it up and the car runs good with no code. is it possible that this connector was always plugged and maybe I knocked off the plug when working on car? also is there any info or diagram on where this vacuum line runs to if I need to re-install one?
