the water pump was worn out. i was stupid enough to loosen the radiator drain. changed the water pump. I used pipe thread sealant to hold the o ring in. got it all back together thinking how smart i was. then the radiator drain started leaking not just a drip every now and then but a steady stream. thank God a friend happened by he took me to the parts store and paid for the part and the antifreeze. got the drain plug in, no more leaks. he left and i went to go home and the van died, no clicks no nothing. go out and wiggle the wires going to the positive and the lights would light up. it was one of those temporary terminals. tightened it down and made it home. now to buy a regular terminal. what is real embarrassing is it never happens when i am alone just when i have a nervous wife with me.
