Default engine light 2013 v6 3.6

hello,

New to DF - Just acquired a second vehicle (2013 Grand Caravan V6 3.6)
I went to start this morning, engine light came on, staying on
Are there 'key/ignition troubleshoots' an owner can do to get possible solution (codes)
Scanner @ garage best I realize, just hope it is something easy

Thanks appreciate help in learning all about this vehicle and 'various drive speeds'

Cheers

Welcome to DF. If you don't have a scanner that will read codes, your local parts store likely will. They generally read codes for free, hoping to sell you parts. Have 'em checked, see what it says. Don't know if the key trick will work for ya, but, can try it..... (assuming you have a digital odometer??) Just cycle the key on-off-on-off-on, and the codes "might" display in the Odo.

I have a 2013 Grand Caravan. The codes can be accessed without a scanner. Turn the key on and off 3 times quickly, leave it on, and the odometer screen will display the codes.
