Can I use a 2017 Pacifica injectors in my 2017 Caravan?


I had a code P0205, which is the number 5 cylinder circuit open and took it back to the dealer. Dealer tells me that its the number 2 injector that's bad. Ok, well they replaced the #2 injector, ran fine for 1 day and now I'm getting code P219A , which I read can be from not using a Mopar injector and using a cheaper one .

Pacifica injectors are $70-100 per injector cheaper. So id like to replace them all with OEM and see if that fixes the code, as I didn't have a code before this.

 

Why not take it back to the dealer who didn’t repair it right.

 

It was warranty work. 1 injector was bad, so they only replaced the one. My warranty is now gone, so they're going to charge me $980 without tax to re do it and replace the other 5 . So not going to take it back when i can do it myself and save $700 .

 

For the record, i found out YOU CAN use 2017+ Pacifica injectors in the caravan, found the info on the Chrysler mini van site.

 

UPDATE : Swapped out all injectors , plugs and coil packs while I was there. 300 miles later and code is still gone. So clearly the pentastar likes mopar injectors or atleast 6 new injectors. Car also runs better then when i bought it.
