Hi, I have a 2017 grand caravan and had the transmission rebuilt at chrysler dealer. ever since the Rebuild it jerks and sometimes shuts off (only when i am stopped)
sometimes when I am stopping it jerks and wants to move forward but is still powered on, and sometimes it just shuts off
I have taken it back to chrysler and they replaced torque converter again but this didnt resolve the issue. They are now saying they need to replace the transmission valve body and transmission solenoids for a total with labour of 4,199.00 CAD. In their notes they did mention that they were not able to reproduce issue and believe these two items might be causing the issue.
Your thoughts on this? does this make sense? not sure i want to spend another 4K on this

Take it back to the dealer and have them scan it for codes. It could be a fuel related problem, Has the fuel filter be replaced? I had a Dodge avenger do what you are describing and it did act up for me. It ended up that the fuel filter was plugged. Replace it and ran fine.
