[5th Gen : 08+]: Transmission slipping
Got a 2018 Grand Caravan about 137000 miles
all of a sudden, the transmission will slip and whine and struggle to get in gear. It happens only after the engine warms up. When it’s cool, shifts just fine.
I’ve also noticed the engine temp gauge needle is sitting steady just past the middle. Before, the needle would be steady just before the middle.
getting P083B, P0868 and P0733
transmission fluid level seems fine measuring with the oil dip stick.
thinking about doing a transmission fluid and filter change since I’m not sure when it was done last and changing the transmission fluid pressure sensor while I’m down there.
Does anyone know what can be causing this?

You may have what is called a front pump whine. Or a blockage in the filter. The P733 which is a gear ratio error in 3rd gear. I recommend to have a transmission shop look at the problem and also have the transmission cooler check for flow as well.
Thank you Master Tech for your response.
Since I had already ordered the parts, I went ahead replaced the transmission pressure sensor as well as flushed and replaced the transmission fluid and filter.
Not sure if it was which work did the trick (maybe both), but seems to have fixed the issue. Driven it for little more than 100 miles and the error codes hasn’t come back and gears are shifting just fine. The temperature doesn’t seem to go over half way on the gauge either.
Hopefully, I can call this issue resolved.
